Beykent University Website

Developed as a spring 2026 graduation project, this corporate web platform prototype for Istanbul Beykent University focuses on mobile usability and accessibility. It aims to make information easier to find and content easier to maintain through a central administration panel.

My role

I worked on backend and CMS development: content and academic staff services with ASP.NET Core Web API, data access with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, and authentication and role-based authorization with JWT. My responsibilities also included content approval and logging infrastructure.

Key features

• Central management of news, announcements, corporate pages and academic staff.
• Content approval or rejection with a reason by authorized users.
• Academic staff search by name and expertise, with faculty and department filters.
• AI-assisted content drafts reviewed by editors.
• Audit, security and exception logs accessible through the administration panel.

Technical architecture

The frontend uses Next.js 15, React and TypeScript. The backend uses ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server and JWT. A layered structure and reusable components support maintainability.

Outcome

The homepage, mobile layout, academic staff directory, content pages and administration panel were completed as a working prototype. Broader user testing, security and performance validation, and content migration are required before institutional production use.
